Aventuras México Profundo was founded in 2001 in the Port of Veracruz, Mexico. The German founder and owner, the ethnologist Orloff Nagorski had already been working as a tour guide across the entire peninsular of Baja California and the Copper Canyon area since 1993. At that time, he had been living in Veracruz for several years.
Even while he was a university professor he never ceased to engage in his passion for traveling and sharing his knowledge and love for Mexico as a tour guide on journeys through all of Mexico and especially the circuit around Baja California and Copper Canyon. And the day came when he turned his passion into profession and that day Aventuras México Profundo was born. It soon started to grow.
The deserts and seas of Baja California have something very powerful about them and once you’ve felt the enchantment of Baja’s beauty and heard the breathing of its whales, it does not leave you alone. But because of our excellent reputation and since we were active right at the start of alternative tourism in Baja California we kept receiving requests for tours in Baja - so many that we decided to move the whole operation and establish Aventuras México Profundo in La Paz, specializing in Baja California and the Copper Canyon. A choice that, according to the feedback of thousands satisfied clients, has proven to be the right one!
