Our guides
Are certified by the Mexican Ministry of Tourism and are at least bilingual in Spanish and one of the following languages: English, German, French and Italian. To assure language proficiency we employ mostly native speakers. We train the guides ourselves continuously not only in the most diverse areas of knowledge but also in customer oriented service attitude, guiding techniques and time management. All of them have undergone a risk evaluation and management training and are recertified every 2 years in current first aid practice. While trained to work in a highly professional manner, most of our guides also rely on years of experience.
Our drivers
Mean safety, an enjoyable ride, politeness and helpfulness. In order to retain their license allowing them to transport people, regular training courses provided by professional training centers are required by the Mexican Ministry of Transportation, and every 2 years they must pass a thorough physical and mental exam. As for us, we do not hire drivers without extensive experience and a completely clean service record. We provide additional training on driving techniques under the specific conditions of our operation and on our routes, such as driving with a trailer or how to negociate dirt roads safely etc, with the very same vehicles the drivers will be actually using.
Our cook and assistant
Comes in handy on camping trips. Being a trained and certified chef all the meals are prepared as needed from scratch with fresh ingredients of the highest quality from the region - we never use instant food or frozen dinners and avoid the use of canned food. We have implemented strict hygiene procedures regarding food preparation and handling to assure food safety and heathiness. On several dinner occasions we’ll also grill steaks or seafood over a romantic bonfire. Enjoy tasty Mexican and international recipes right in your camp!
