An Attractive Tour Along Baja's Entire Length At A Great Price!
This 11-day sightseeing tour of the entire peninsula, which is operated all year long, is a tour showing you all the cultural and natural highlights at an unbeatable price. This extraordinary trip operates both from north to south and from south to north with a minimum of 4 participants.
As well as having travelled from the international border through all the different landscapes right down to the tip of Baja at Los Cabos (or vice versa), after taking this trip you will also have experienced Mexico’s most famous wineries, traveled to the highest elevation of Baja, seen ancient rock paintings, admired an almost extinct subspecies of the Pronghorn Antelope in its natural habitat, spotted whales or Whale Sharks in the Gulf’s mythical Angels’ Bay or interacted with the friendly Gray Whales at their Pacific calving grounds on the winter dates from January to March.
- Excursion by boat in Bahía de los Ángeles to observe marine life.
On summer dates you will have close up encounters with Whale Sharks and, if you wish, you can snorkel with these peaceful giants in a protected area of the bay.
On all other dates you will head further out to the channels between the islands where you may also see Fin Whales and other whale species.
- On dates outside the whale watching season excursion to the Pronghorn Antelope breeding station situated on a huge territory forming part of their natural habitat. You will also visit the largest “open sky” salt works in the world, a bird reserve and an area of shifting sand dunes.
On winter dates the highlight on this day is a Gray Whale watching excursion by boat on Ojo de Liebre lagoon.
- On an excursion you will get to know the marvelous landscape of Catavina also known as giants’ playground. Wind erosion has shaped massive pink granite boulders into bizarre forms, which blend with over 15 m tall columnar cacti, as well as the endemic Blue Palms and Boojum Trees to create an almost surreal landscape and a truly enchanting atmosphere. We'll also visit a little known cave to admire well-preserved rock paintings.
- Two day excursion with overnight stay on a charming guest farm to the National Park San Pedro Mártir with its beautiful oak and pine tree forests. Here we will visit the National Astronomical Observatory located at 9,282 ft. (2.830 m) above sea level. From this point you may enjoy breathtaking views not only of the Devil's Peak, Baja California's highest elevation, but also of the northernmost part of the Sea of Cortez and, if the weather is clear, even of the Pacific Ocean. In the National Park there is also the possibility of several recreational activities including hiking.
- Tour of Mexico’s premier wine producing region, Guadalupe Valley, including wine tasting at two wineries.
- Outside the whale watching season excursion to the best known volcanic region of Baja California known as the Three Virgins to explore the here especially abundant vegetation between the lava tongues, due to the fertile mineral soil.
- Full day trip to the Cape region including a visit of Todos Santos, known as the artist colony of southern Baja, and at Cabo San Lucas excursion by boat to famous Land’s End featuring the stone arch which is the landmark of Los Cabos.
- On travel dates from north to south possibility of trip extension in La Paz, Todos Santos or Los Cabos; or opportunity to add an extension trip to the Copper Canyon.
